Tips on Making The Best Chicken Fajita Pasta
Sauté the Vegetables: You will get the perfect texture while sautéing the bell peppers, onions in garlic until they’re softened. The sweetness of the dish will be enhanced with the perfect sauté.
Don’t Overcook the Pasta: Be aware of the pasta until it’s just al dente. The reason is that it will continue to cook a bit more when you add it into the other ingredients. You don’t want a mushy pasta so just keep an eye on it while you’re boiling them.
High-Quality Cheese Can Make a Difference: Opt for high-quality cheese if you can. A perfect blend of cheese will make or break this dish for you. Freshly grated cheese is the best when you’re trying to melt it efficiently. You can use any cheese blend you like.
Seasonings: Adjust the seasonings levels to your preference. You can taste them as you cook and adjust if needed. Keeping the flavors balanced will ensure the cooking process goes smoothly. If you want less spice, lower the chili powder and cayenne pepper amounts.
Fresh Herbs: You can garnish this as well with some fresh herbs. Chopped Cilantro or Parsley can really elevate the flavors of this dish. The freshness of the herbs can enhance the presentation as well.

Chicken Fajita Pasta can be stored in airtight containers for 2-3 days after being made. Be sure to consume within those 2-3 days.
USE AIRTIGHT CONTAINERS

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Yes, you can use different types of pasta such as penne, fusilli, or even spaghetti if preferred. Just adjust the cooking time according to the pasta’s instructions.
While it’s best served fresh, you can prepare some of this in advance. Cook the pasta and chicken separately, then combine with the sauce just before serving to prevent the pasta from becoming soggy.
You can use half-and-half or you can use evaporated milk as substitutes for heavy cream. We have not tried it with any of those so we cannot attest to how it will taste. But I imagine it’s very similar. The texture will definitely vary.
Definitely! Simply remove the chicken and use vegetable broth instead of chicken broth. You can also add extra vegetables like mushrooms or zucchini for added flavor.
It goes really well with a nice salad, such as Salata – Afghan Salad, garlic bread, or even some nicely roasted vegetables. Don’t forget about our Cilantro Green Chutney.
